How We Started

GoldBear Media started in February of 2020 when Kelly decided she was going to pick up some freelance work to help with some medical bills that had accumulated while Shawn, her husband and now business partner, had to have emergency back surgery and spent 2019 recovering from a spinal abscess that almost left him paralyzed from the waist down.

“It was a really scary time for our family. I had a full time job and just wanted to alleviate some of the pressure now that he was back to work. When the pandemic hit, the need for digital marketing services exploded, and before the end of 2020, we were doing enough work that I was looking for other freelancers to help me keep up.” (-Kelly Sundsvold)

Fast forward to today, and GoldBear Media has continued to grow and support the digital needs of clients across the country. We work with clients through our “core 4” offerings (Social Media Management Services, Website Design, Email Marketing, SEO) to help businesses get more traffic, more leads, and more revenue while building brand loyalty and enhancing their bottom line.
